My Dog Has Hip Dysplasia Surgery Coming Up. I Was Wondering, Will It Put Her In More Pain Or Stop The Pain? - hip dysplasia more condition_symptoms

My dog suffers from a severe hip dysplaisia. It has come to consult with the doctor. Obtained from the surgery, there is no doubt, but he's in more pain or ease? We took a walk in the front yard every day. The vet said that (THR total hip replacement) is the best answer, but what?

For the first few weeks it will be in unbearable pain during the procedure. Then, when the pain to heal, but not sharp and sudden pain, walking now. Finally, the bone is weakened, if the implant is attached. The bone is deteriorating, and back pain. Most dogs have the surgery again appear in the clinic about 3 years old and in poor condition as it originally. This is not a permanent solution.
A veterans clinic, where they do not work, or refer to the university. He feels the pain and alleviating suffering is the first duty of a doctor. The procedure itself causes so much pain, and the problem again and again to a level several years, usually less than five years. It does not feel this type of orthopedic surgery is in the best interest long-term animals.

It is a great danger that all I can say. Improved for some dogs, the hip after surgery, but some dogs, only worsened to the point where they need to be amputated. Some owners put their dogs because they no longer vet bills or only some want to make an end to their suffering. 50:50-So there is a chance that your dog will could never walk again. We only ask that she is beautiful. In pain, I can not be much help. I hope someone here can.

In the first dog to be even worse because of the operation. They did not discourage him. As the dog priest gets better every day. You have the right choice for your dog. They ensure its longer life without pain for the exchange of a little pain for a short period. You deserve tons of credit. Many of them do not bother b / c costs. Just ask to be concerned about the results. I mean really loves it. Have the surgery! Of course I wanted for my Rott, Jake. When he was diagnosed, "said the vet, he was too old for surgery. I had to keep painkillers and vitamins. Bottom of the Hill, a few months b / f was 12 and was re-assigned since stopped eating and could not walk. If the surgery can do for them thimk twice and not finished!

I am not a vet, but I think it would be steps to facilitate and ease their pain a little. At least that's what I think should happen. Good luck. : D
