At work, we Miniture a palm tree, which consists of 3 separate. Two look great and are very much lost in the trunk, the third all their hands. It is still firmly in the trunk, but the top half feels soft and smooth feel compared to some places. The tree is still alive or is it refundable? Or simply take the third tree?

He died - delete. It is likely if overwatered root rot. If it is a disease that is expected to take refuge in the section of the dead and not on the floor. Might be a good idea to replace the soil.
cut or remove the third tree coz you absorb nutrients from the other two and would soon die.
